Grand Banks Schooner
This ship sat in a wooden crate under a porch for decades before being re-discovered by its family. The sails had to be pieced together and a template made for our seamstress to work with. After new sails were made it became apparent that this was a very unique breed of ship model as it is not just for display but free-sailed in water. The rigging was specially designed to be collapsable for transportation. After months of investigating with rc sail clubs and historians this ship was referred to a restoration facility in New England where these kinds of boats are more common.
