Product Description

The original Gravedigger tires are no longer available. This kit replaces them with 4 off-road tires that are the same diameter as stock tires. Kit includes new wheels , tires, and all parts to assemble. Refer to this webpage for instructions and be sure you understand them before ordering. Use the pictures on this page too. Kit is not returnable.

Rear Tire Instructions:
1. Remove screws from old rims and remove tires. Pull cotter pin from axle and remove inner wheel so there is nothing left on the axle up to the gearcase. Both tires must be removed before you can install the new ones.
2. Put a small wheel driver in front of a large wheel driver. Put a bolt through each of the 4 holes with the head of the bolt on the small wheel driver and a lock nut set into the large wheel driver. Use the picture as a guide. Slide driver assembly onto rear axle until it locks to gearcase.
3. Put a hubcap onto a left or right side tire (there's an "L" or an "R" stamped on each tire), then put both together onto the axle, locking the 4 holes in the tire into the 4 nubs of the wheel driver.
4. With the axle centered in the vehicle you should have no more then 1/4" exposed at each end. If you have more then that add washer to each side. Install a capnut. Then press a center hubcap on to make it all look pretty.

Front Tire Instructions:
1. Remove screws from old rims and remove tires. Pull cotter pin from axle and remove inner wheel so there is nothing left on the axle up to the steering linkage.
2. Onto the front axle slide a washer, two black plastic bushings with the flat sides facing out, another washer, then a small wheel driver. Use the picture as a guide.
3. Put a hubcap onto a left or right side tire, then put both together onto the axle, locking the 4 holes in the tire into the 4 nubs of the wheel driver.
4. Install a capnut. Then press a center hubcap on to make it all look pretty.

Kit includes:
2 each of K8285-2039 Right tires, K8285-2239 Left tires, J8472-2299 driver hubs.
